ANCOP Commander and his EUROGENDFOR advisor to the graduation of the first Afghan officer from the French Gendarmerie academy.


The traditional ceremony at the  end of schooling for the gendarmerie cadets took place on 30 June 2016 in the French Gendarmerie Academy based in Melun (Paris southern neighbourhood). Among the 137 students was in particular lieutenant Saber AMINI, first Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) officer being graduate in the Academy.

This high-level training cooperation project was implemented through the EUROGENDFOR advisor to the ANCOP commander, division general Zamaraï PAIKAN.

Invited by his French National Gendarmerie counterpart, the ANCOP general commander, accompanied by the EUROGENDFOR Adviser, colonel (OF5) Jerome DELCAMBRE, attended this ceremony chaired by the French Prime Minister and his ministry of Interior.
